Hypnotic, really creepy scene from The Portrait of a Lady (directed by Jane Campion) with some great acting especially by Malkovich. Love the way the director uses a different camera angle when the character of Malkovich confesses his love to Nicole Kidman (2:09) as if a spirit (love?) is visiting them. The lush score is by Polish composer Wojciech Kilar (Dracula score — indeed the soundtrack would fit perfectly in a horror film!)
